Key Air Adds Business Aircraft Sales To Repertoire

Based business aircraft management and charter firm Key Air recently added aircraft sales to its portfolio of services. The newly designated group will assist in acquiring aircraft for clients, it said.

Key Air’s approach to facilitating the acquisition and sale of aircraft for our clientele is a crucial component in expanding our aircraft management services,” said director of aircraft sales and acquisition Tony DiVerniero. The company has formed a network of aircraft brokers and manufacturers to provide clients with a “one-stop resource,” he added.

On the aircraft management side, Key Air has added three jets—a Bombardier Global 5000 Vision, GulfstreamIV-SP and Learjet 45XR—since January 1. In conjunction with adding the Global 5000 to its Part 135 certificate, Key Air vice president and director of flight operations Chris Hand received FAA check airman designation for the entire Bombardier Global series. He was also given the authority to conduct FAA evaluations at the completion of Key Air’s in-house Part 135 training.
